FORMSIL GRANULES

FORMSIL GRANULES is a white, free-flowing granulate that is used as a dispersant for ceramic slurries in industrial applications. FORMSIL GRANULES dissolves quickly and completely in water, forming a highly alkaline silicate solution. It provides benefits such as good dispersing ability, pH buffering effect and high alkali reserve which helps in wetting and suspending mineral solids and pigments faster and more evenly in water-based coatings. FORMSIL GRANULES also helps in breaking electrostatic viscosity in clay-containing slurries, allowing for increased solid content. Its strong alkalinity and relatively high crystal water content makes it suitable for use as a fire protection filling in industrial equipment and facilities.
